My students and I have been so very excited to use this large drying rack. This drying rack has already been such a wonderful space for my students to place their paintings and other projects while those art creations dry and prepare to be shared with our families, at home or at school...adorning the walls of our classroom and our hallways! It allows us to express ourselves creatively through art, to help keep our learning space orderly, and to allow for movement and to better utilize our classroom space. It has been such a wonderful addition to our classroom!\r\n\r\nMy students love being able to complete their projects and then, independently, walk with their creation over to the drying rack! It is just the right height for them and it is easily accessible, not only because of the number of shelves on the drying rack but because of its location in our classroom, too. In PreK, we work hard to develop our own independence and to build more confidence in ourselves, so the more that we can do \"on our own\" the better. We can practice that independence even more ( and on a daily basis ) when we pick up our art projects, walk them over to the drying rack and place them on one of the shelves...something that seems so small to others but is a \"big deal\" for our littlest learners and something that we do on a daily basis!\r\n\r\nAgain, thank you so very much for your support and for your generous donation! For my future students, these resources will continue to inspire curiosity year after year, allowing each new group of learners to explore the important roles people play in our community.
