This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.

My Project

I love being able to provide my students with a snack when they come in and tell me that they didn’t eat breakfast or lunch. I feel that very snack might give them the energy or pick me up in order for them to function and participate in class.

Just being able to help or provide my students with the things they need brings great joy.

I also, love the fact that I am here when they come in and ask for personal hygiene products and I have them to provide for them. I think it gives them that confidence needed when they are around others and they feel nice and clean.
