Celebrate Black Teachers and Students

This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.

My Project

We are facing a time when a lot is up in the air. These snacks will help give students the energy to get through the long school day. Every day, my students come in from recess. They have worked hard all day. Some grab a snack from their backpacks, but many do not. Snacks can be expensive, and, on the list of demands, they end up at the bottom of the list for families.

Having a full tummy will, in fact, allow my students to work to their full potential!

Providing snacks makes the difference between students learning and being successful or not being successful. It is a simple request that will make a huge impact on my students. They will be able to focus and keep their stamina up for the entire day. A few extra things to keep students safe.

I know that when I have had enough to eat, I work my best. I also want to give my students the opportunity to take a snack from the cart home to have after school, too.
