My Project

Every year, I love to showcase brand new books for my students to enjoy! Each of the books that I chose are 2025 Nutmeg nominees, so they are the best of the best! These books are multiple genres and feature diverse main characters. They are excellent window and mirror books!

These books will help my students discover the love of reading and become lifelong literacy lovers.

Students will have access to all of the books to choose for their own independent reading, and I also use those books are read-alouds and mentor texts. In addition, if students read or listen to at least four of the Nutmeg books, they are given the opportunity to vote in the state-wide election to determine students' favorites!

Your contribution will help me get quality literature into the hands of young students!
