We are starting new classrooms for kids that have behavior and sensory needs. These supplies will be shared . We are trying to help our students get their needs meet but providing different areas/equipment for them to use. These items will be in our classrooms but can be used by other teachers to help kids they have with sensory needs too.
Sensory needs are imperative to meet to help students succeed in school.
These items will help the students meet them by giving them ways to meet their sensory needs. The items that we are asking for will help our students in multiple ways meet their needs of touching, seeing, and hearing. We are going to use the TPT gift card to buy resources for our students to make reminders for our classroom on what to do when life is tough and have activities to go along with our social/emotional books we are reading. We are asking for obstacle course items that we can use in the classroom, hallway, and outside. We are asking for swivel chairs to use when they need to twirl. We are also asking for play stations and marble hand held mazes when they need to touch something to focus. All of our items will be used by both schools when they need to get some wiggles out. With these items, we can help them academically and socially be regulated and ready to learn.
