A Seat for When We Meet!

Help me give my students a space for everyone to sit! The calming colors rug will provide each of my students a square on the carpet as we meet for social and instructional time.

My Students

My students have such creative minds that inspire me to be my best I can be for them. They come to school every day and are willing to learn and grow socially, emotionally, and educationally.

My students are the reason I want to come to school each day and teach!

We make sure that we continue to build our relationships to form a small community of respect. It is remarkable to see my students use kind words and do kind actions towards one another. It touches my heart when I hear them support and compliment each others ideas and responses during times when we meet. We have become a family!

My Project

A rug is a place within a classroom to meet and have conversations with partners or as a whole group. It's a place for students to work together, support each other as we learn, and encourage each other to try.

My students don't have a carpet where they can have these great opportunities to increase their social, emotional, and educational learning.

A rug with squares will provide my students with a designated space that is all their own. A place where they can have open dialogue when we meet on the rug for small groups, stations, and instructional time. To have a calming colored rug will help boost our learning environment.
