My Students

I currently teach in an Integrated Co-Teaching 2nd grade classroom with both General Education Students and Special Education Students. My school is a Title 1 school where all students qualify for free breakfast and lunch. School funds are extremely low and materials limited. Many of my students come to school without basic supplies necessary for successful learning. My goal is to provide a comfortable and safe learning environment that supports them and helps them reach grade level standards.

My Project

My classroom has always been one where everyone is made to feel welcome to be themselves, learn at their own pace, explore and take risks. I want all my students to feel comfortable both emotionally and physically.

By purchasing active motion stools, it will give my students the opportunity to work cooperatively with their fellow peers, while allowing them to move their bodies as needed.

The stools will be perfect for those students that have ADD as it helps with balance and stability, while also allowing gentle movement to enhance focus and attention,
