Celebrate Black Teachers and Students

This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.

My Project

The Flagship Rug will allow space for students to come together in a mutual area for learning. The size of the rug will give students space while also staying within a close proximity of each other to learn at our whiteboard. Our current learning area is not large enough and most students have to sit around or in chairs to learn together. This particular rug will give us all the opportunity to learn together in the same area. We also use a rug for class meetings and community circles and a larger rug will let us comfortable sit and listen to each other as we grow as a group.
