This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

In my classroom, we currently have an older, very thin rug. All of the edges have curled up and the threads are starting to pull out from the seams! Our classroom is in need of a new rug where we can be comfortable while learning. We use our rug every morning for circle time and also in the afternoon during small group reading.

We just got this rug in a smaller size for our classroom library, and my students love to sit and read on it!

This larger rug would help so much in replacing our old one so my students have somewhere comfortable to sit besides their desks.
