Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Each year, I try to set my classroom up in such a way that my students feel safe and comfortable learning, making mistakes, and growing academically. It is important to me that I am able to create a learning environment that motivates my students to learn and gets them excited about coming to school.

This project would provide my students with a large, colorful carpet to sit on, a calendar set, motivational posters, stickers, bulletin board sets, decorative pillows for our library center, and a variety of other classroom decorations and accessories to make our room a fun, inviting, safe, and comfortable learning environment.

All of these items match the current safari theme we have in our classroom this year, and I will continue using them for years to come.
