Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

My students are currently attending school in person but we're still implementing a Hybrid model. This has been a tough year! What I love about my students is how inquisitive they truly are! They are eager to participate in brand new activities, they are so intrigued by technology and love to apply new skills.

My Project

This Amazon Echo Portal is the perfect way to continue to use technology in this Hybrid school model. We have resumed school but all our Parent Conferences, Staff Meetings, and use of Videos can be streamlined through this portal. Instead of having to connect to my own Mac. We can use this Portal that is designed to move with you on video calls when we're holding parent conferences or simply streaming our class when students are exposed to COVID or in Quarantine. This will enable us to use technology to the MAX!

This portal will allow my students to easily access streamed Science videos from Generation Genius and Mystery Science.

I stream Brain Pop Jr. and much more! It is easy to connect and it's the perfect way to use when streaming class for those students that are in quarantine. It follows the teacher or presenter (around the class so that students can get a view of the whiteboard without having someone monitoring the device. This will facilitate the viewers' connection. It focuses easily and it makes it easy as the presenter is moving around the classroom.
