I teach a 3rd grade class at Serrania Charter School for Enriched Studies in which students focus on a yearly theme entitled: Choice, Chance, Change. At Serrania students learn from each other and from a tight community of involved parents who love to volunteer at our school. This curriculum calls for weekly, monthly and yearly group projects. It also calls for resourcefulness, problem solving and a curious ever-questioning mind that will guide students toward their own goals and dreams as they continue this unending quest for knowledge called life.

About my class
