Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
My students are such a fun and lovable group. My students come from varying ethnic backgrounds.
My students light up my world and remind me daily why I chose to become an educator.
I truly appreciate each one of my students. They teach me just as much as I teach them. My students have a variety of learning styles that are as varied as they are. My classroom is very diverse; therefore, having a variety of ways to learn is essential.
My Project
The materials being asked for in the project would allow our class to continue learning in fun, effective, and engaging ways. Our pop its would enable our class to practice reading and spelling sight words. Although we are used to working on our sight words with paper and pencil/marker, we would be excited to practice with a new tool! We are also constantly in need of new masks as our masks often break during physical activity such as when we are in PE or at recess. We are in need of a back up stash to ensure our class is staying safe and healthy. The garland, magnetic tape, and chart markers would allow us to have an efficient classroom and allow us to make our classroom a more homey place to be.
