This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

My students learn best by exploring. One of our units is a study on plants. I want to expose my students to different ways to plant as well as different types of plants. Its exciting to learn about all the different things plants can offer.

Planting will help my students learn about what plants need to live, the life cycle of plants, and the parts of plants.

With these requested materials, live plants, potting materials, seeds and more. Students will learn how to plant, take care of plants and watch them grow.

We use plants everyday and my young learners will learn will learn while experiencing the process. We can also add the plants to our community garden.
