My students need Scholastic News to learn about the world around us. They are eager to learn new things and love nonfictional text. It’s difficult to find nonfiction at their reading level. Scholastic News will give my students an opportunity to read about current events and science topics throughout the year. They will read nonfiction texts on a regular basis and see photographs that will encourage curiosity and conversation. They will love it when the new readers arrive and see the topics they will be learning about. Students will be able to share their news with their family and friends at home.
