My Project

I work with students from Kindergarten to Fifth grade who have the super power of speaking more than one language. It is my goal to help my students learn English to unlock as many doors for their future as they can.

Speaking to other students in a low stress situation allow for conversation to grow and develop.

The purchase of this rug will allow me to set up a system in which students will have a high structured way of talk with each other. Each area of our rug will be labeled in a way that students always know who their partner is so that they know exactly who to talk to when asked. As my students are developing their English skills, practicing speaking is so very important to their growth and this allows more opportunities to engage with each other and in the long run, allows for students to develop stronger communication skills in English.
