This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.
My Students
We are a Title I school surrounded by a warm and caring community. Our students come from a variety of different economic and cultural backgrounds, with over ninety percent receiving free or reduced-price lunch.
I call my students My Eager-Beaver Learners.
They love to be challenged and love learning new things. They proudly wear our school slogan Believe, Achieve, Succeed as an inspiration to all students. Each year, my students collect food and toys during the holidays to make sure that every kid has a memorable holiday season.
My Project
My students need a place to store their math manipulatives, STEM resources, and art supplies. I have always believed there is a place for everything and everything should be in its place. When my students are done using our hands-on tools the only place to store them is on the center tables. That makes it extremely hard for my kiddos to do other work at the same table.
I am trying to find a solution to our problem.
Your donations will help create a classroom that allows my kindergartners to have easy access to those storage bins and drawers. They will also be able to use these items right at there own table.
As a very organized teacher, it would mean the world to me and my young learners to have such a variety of storage throughout my classroom to best support my students learning this upcoming school year!
