This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

My students are energetic, creative, and full of eagerness to learn. They love engaging activities and anything that requires a challenge. Their energy and love for learning motivates me to the best teacher I can be.

Every child in our classroom is unique and comes from a wide variety of backgrounds.

When they are in our classroom they are valued and cared for. I incorporate different learning strategies and opportunities to work alone or with a group. With more flexible seating than I had before I can provide students with the materials they need to reach their full potential.

My Project

My class recently received various flexible seating options. We now have many seating choices which has unfortunately created a lack of storage for our learning materials. The drawer storage will help my students have a place for their materials and help them stay organized. These storage units will help students move freely throughout the school day to all their favorite places to learn. These choices eliminate the traditional storage solutions that we have with a desk or seat sack.

Each student will have a place to keep their school supplies organized which will make for a more efficient school day.

Not only will their school items be easier to locate, it will also make our classroom environment more welcoming.
