A Picture Is Worth 1000 Words!

Help me give my students a projector so they have the ability to see their progress on the app called Class Dojo as they work on developing their social skills.

My Students

My students are eager learners at the beginning of their schooling! They work hard every day to learn, grow and strengthen their new skills! Many are ELLs and some are very new to the country, so the ability to see, hear and touch what they are learning about is so important! In addition, many of my students do not have a consistent home so being able to have a comfortable, beautiful classroom full of the tools they need is another way to provide them a feeling of stability.

Reading, writing, math and so much more: these are the skills my students sharpen every day through hard work and fun, of course!

A glimpse into my classroom will show the many strengths of the school, such as the diverse student body, the grit of the students and the successful futures they are working towards! Building their skills is the key to success!

My Project

We use Class Dojo to help motivate our students and help them to manage their behaviors. I track their progress on the app on my phone, but if I were able to project it, my students could see their progress more clearly and frequently. This app has made a big difference for so many of my students who benefit from a positive behavioral support as they learn social skills and how to behave, especially in school. My students regularly ask me how they are doing, but being able to project this would increase their independent self-monitoring, a life long skill. With a projector, I can show the app all throughout the day for a clear visual reference.
