This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

I am hoping that my students can each get a copy of the book "Code Talker" so that they can advance in their learning. They are excited about reading the book and completing the activities that will deepen their understanding.

My students come from low income families that can't always afford to buy them books.

By providing one, you are opening them to a better learning experience. My students will take a dive into the past and learn to deepen their thinking and discussions. This will prepare them for hands on learning and for their future endeavors.

Their road is long and has many potential paths. Providing them this small gift we open a new path for them.
