This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

My classroom is a place of exploration, creativity, and growth, and I am constantly looking for ways to make it even more engaging for my students.

I am reaching out to you today with a wish list item that I believe would be a valuable addition to my classroom: the Kaplan Early Learning Illumination Station.

This amazing tool combines sand and light play to create a one-of-a-kind hands-on learning adventure for children.

The Illumination Station uses Augmented Reality technology to project realistic colors and images onto the sand, making for a mesmerizing sensory experience. Through this, children can learn about geography, topography, seasons, animal habitats, and more as they create their worlds and explore interactive environments.

But the fun doesn't stop there! With just a flip of the projector, the Illumination Station transforms into a space for literacy, math, science, music, and other engaging physical activities. This play center offers endless possibilities for learning, ensuring that each experience is unique and exciting for the children.

With your help, we can provide our students with a tool that will not only enhance their cognitive and social development but also stimulate their sensory skills. The Illumination Station will allow my students to learn in a fun and interactive way, making the learning process even more enjoyable for them.

The Illumination Station includes a sand table, projector, light bulb, remote, and sand, all of which will be used to create a dynamic learning environment for my students. Your contribution towards this wish list item will be greatly appreciated and will have a lasting impact on the education and growth of my students.
