Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

This school year one of my goals was to continue to be strong in teaching writing to all my Dual Immersions students. Writing can be hard in English and asking students to do it now in Spanish is more than difficult. However, every year students learn to love writing and want to continue to do it the entire day. Please help me by creating a new learning environment to help their writing grow.

My goal is to create a different learning environment so students are able to collaborate with partners or groups in writing by not only sitting just at their desk but by moving around and giving them the opportunity for flexible seating even if they just want to independently write.

By donating seats, notebooks, pencils, etc. you are not only supporting me as an educator but all the learners in my current and future classes to continue to write and use their imagination.
