My Students

We have an excited, energetic, talkative, amazing group of kindergartners! We have 16 students who love to learn. Kindergarten is a busy place where we are always working to balance social-emotional learning with meeting academic standards as well! Most of all, we want to teach children to continue to love learning and create a desire for children to become lifelong learners!

Kindergartners are a unique group of students, making a big shift between preschool and first grade, with growing independence and skills!

My Project

Students need a new kitchen to play pretend at school, and some new plates, bowls, and materials for imaginative play. They need bins to keep our new baby dolls and kitchen supplies, and hooks to hang the dress up.

A new kitchen would go well with our play stands, and allow children to really dive deeper into their imaginations.

This helps children develop executive functioning skills, to role play and stay with a scenario. It also helps their social skills to follow their own plan, and incorporate other children's ideas and thinking too.

A beautiful wooden kitchen is a timeless piece that will last a lifetime in this classroom!
