My Project

I have been teaching for 13 years various grades from Kindergarten to 5th grade. For the past 5 years I have been teaching Kindergarten at a title one charter school. I grew a lot as an educator there and became really good at my craft. A new opportunity came upon me and my family at a public school in 4th grade and I just knew this was my chance to teach others everything I have learned over the last few years. My new school is also a Title one school full of wonderful scholars who I am ready to watch grow and succeed. Since I left my Kindergarteners in the middle of the year I left a lot of my supplies and decor behind. I didn't want to inturupt to much of what is normal to them leaving me needing a lot of things for my new classroom.

My new scholars have already taught me so much and I want to make sure they not only have what they need to be successful in the classroom, but also that their classroom is inviting, colorful, and friendly.

With your help and support I will be able to create a space that is not only conducive to learning but that is like a second home to them. Their learning environment deserves to be a safe space where they enjoy going each day. The supplies given will be used daily. Expo markers and crayons are such a critical part of our daily routines, the bins will allow for student organization and not as much lost instructional time, and the scissors and crayons will allow for some really fun projects.
