Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

I teach Kindergarten at a Title I school in Florida. A high percentage of our students receive free or reduced-price lunch. My students come from diverse backgrounds where English is their second language. Most of them are living below the poverty line. They have limited resources at home to continue their learning. My students enter the classroom with curious minds and are eager to learn. They love reading, math, science, and all the new things taught in kindergarten. It's rewarding to see how much they learn and grow as the year progresses.

My Project

I believe a neat class is a happy class. These resources will be ideal to better organize my classroom. It will assist me in having a place for everything and have items accessible for the students. The drawer cubbies will work great for flashcards, letter tiles and manipulatives. The rolling carts will work great to sort and organize my learning center materials. The desk and desktop organizer will be essential to work at when checking the students' assignments.

An organized classroom puts the children at ease and creates a stress-free learning environment.
