A Motivational School Store

Help me give my students a school store where they can shop after they earn school bucks for showing expected behaviors. We polled our students for their favorite items and Takis were at the top of their list!

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Our school includes a sub-separate program for middle school students with a high level of need. These students require a therapeutic environment and benefit from high levels of structure.

Our students respond well to external motivators and enjoy earning rewards; unfortunately, our school has no budget to help us acquire things for the students to earn.

We use a lot of non-monetary rewards such as experiences and earned privileges, but our students consistently request access to high value snacks, toys, and other products.

We are setting up this campaign to help us stock a school store where our students will be able to redeem school currency they earn for achieving their goals.
