My Project

We are a Title I school under the poverty level seeking a generous donation so my students can have some sort of costumes while we learn Shakespeare and perform A Midsummer Night's Dream. My goal is that students will gain a better appreciation of Shakespeare. His works are rich in characterization and plot, and the more my students are involved in the piece, the better it will help promote literacy. All too often students turn their noses up at Shakespeare, especially students with exceptionalities. Together, we help them gain a better appreciation and understanding.
