My Project
My kindergarten students love to learn! They are a very active group who are kind and caring. They love to help each other and have become fast friends. When we learn new skills in our classroom, we gather together every day for lessons, stories, and discussions. We have two meeting areas where the majority of our learning takes place. One of those areas does not have a classroom rug.
Without a classroom rug, it can be challenging for the younger students to understand boundaries while we learn.
A rug would give us a designated area where every child knows exactly where to sit, providing the comfort, structure, and consistency they need. Young learners are successful when they have boundaries, are safe, supported, and cozy. Having a classroom rug will do just that. Your support will help our lessons go smoothly, our transitions easier, and our classroom more cozy.
