Celebrate Black Teachers and Students

This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.

My Project

Oftentimes, students need continuous extrinsic motivation just to “do school.” They become less thrilled by the same old “treasure box” items as a treat as the year goes by. I would like to provide amazon gift cards as rewards for my students for doing their best at school. Every day we remind our students how important their attendance and good behavior are. Positive reinforcement is a great way to keep them motivated.

These amazon gift cards will keep our students motivated to continue to come to school and to exhibit positive behaviors.
