My Project

I have been teaching a combined classroom of fourth and fifth grade gifted students for 15 years. One of my favorite things to do with them is share my love of reading. We read multiple novels throughout the year as I try to find a book that each child will enjoy. This year we opened a brand new, beautiful K-8 building. This new campus has increased our numbers, and I have more students than ever.

I want to share stories with my students that also teach about kindness, acceptance and the importance of being open to all types of people.
