My Students

Welcome to 4th grade! We are from the official home of Superman, and I have a room of "super-students."

Many of my students' parents have not gone to college and live in poverty.

Despite the many challenges they face, I am looking to provide my students with creative and meaningful learning experiences. Many of my students have limited resources available to them at home, making it more important than ever to provide them with necessary tools while at school.

This year our school is making some changes and I will be teaching all math.

My Project

This school year our school is making some changes. I will be responsible for all 4th grade math. I'm very excited about this change but want to insure my students have the best opportunity to learn and be successful. "Tell me and I will forget. Teach me and I may remember.

This quote is the driving force for the how I am striving to teach my students. I want to involve them and insure that they learn and retain 4th grade math skills.

These STEM activities will also be utilized during "soft starts" for students that need a quieter option to start the morning then the morning assembly in the gym.
