A Little Bit of Everything: My First Grade Classroom Needs!

Help me give my students flexible seating, mailboxes, a classroom carpet, books, snacks, storage, and essential supplies to create a welcoming, organized first-grade classroom where students feel comfortable, supported, and ready to learn.

My Project

I love how curious, energetic, and eager to learn my students have been. There are many barriers they knock down daily as over 70% of the school is low-income.

They are little warriors.

I will be teaching first grade which is such an important age where their confidence, independence, and love of learning are beginning to grow, and I want my classroom to be a place where every child feels safe, supported, and excited to come to school. Some kids don’t have this at home, so I strive to create it in class.

This project will provide resources that help make our classroom welcoming, organized, and engaging. Snacks will support students throughout the school day, while flexible seating, storage, and a classroom rug will create comfortable spaces for learning and collaboration. Books will help build our classroom library and give students more opportunities to develop their reading skills and discover stories they love.

These resources will help my students feel valued while giving them the tools they need to learn and thrive.
