Journaling is an awesome way to allow students to drive their own education. The front of their composition books can be decorated and personalized by each student how they want it to look. The glue sticks will be utilized for students to glue their handouts in place.
Being able to take notes, decorate, highlight, and glue important documents in their own personal math journal will bring joy and excitement to a subject that is not everyone's favorite.
The goal is for students to take their interactive notebooks and use it as a resource for their next semesters state tested math course. What makes students so special is their desire to persevere through even when they are struggling.
