A Horseshoe Table for ICT!

My Students

My students come from low income families. Many are in temporary housing, shelters and foster homes. Many of my students have learning disabilities and can benefit from varied resources as technology, hands on resources and much more.

My students are eager learners that are always trying to do their best to succeed, but need resources to do so.

They are motivated learners who show a strong love for learning and work well in small groups. They are interested in technology, and enjoy hands-on activities.

My Project

Seating arrangements are important in a classroom setting that will assist in preventing problem behaviors that decrease student attention and negatively affect instructional time.

My students work in small groups everyday and will be able to use this table with my ICT teacher for instructional purposes.

A horseshoe table will help both my ICT teacher and myself determine which arrangement of desks best facilitate positive academic and behavioral outcomes for my classroom.

My students will all benefit from using this dry erase horseshoe table in math as we can easily show our work and promote academic success in our class.
