A Home Away From Home

Help me give my students a cozy and clean classroom. I want to create a welcoming space with a carpet, bean bags, visible clock, and lamps to give a homey, cozy feel in our shared space.

My Project

As a first year 5th grade teacher, I’m looking to provide my students with a clean and comfortable environment for the learning we’ll be doing.

The carpet, beanbag chairs, floor seats, and lamps will make up the reading area/cozy corner in the room.

The digital clock will be placed along the analog clock to provide students the time and to keep us on track with a daily schedule. The clock also has a timer for timed small group and large group tasks. The broom, mop, and mop accessories will help the students and I keep the classroom clean.

Every student especially my students deserve a clean, cozy, and comfortable environment to learn in!

This project will directly impact historically underfunded classrooms.
