A Higher Perspective

My students need a drum major podium so that our 70+ member marching band can see our drum major while he or she is conducting.

My Students

My students from Northwest Indiana are quirky, ambitious, and dedicated. They love to be challenged and given the opportunity to perform and showcase their many talents.

They are eager to prove themselves and are incredibly grateful for every step they climb on their ladder of success.

Success doesn't always come easily in our high poverty area and many of our students have been searching for the type of comradery and belonging that marching band can give.

The students enjoyed last year's season immensely and spread the word so our band program has almost doubled in size in the last year. We are looking forward to reaching our full potential and exploring our new dynamic in the upcoming season.

My Project

Drum Majors stand on podiums so that they can be seen directing from across the football field. As the band has almost doubled in size, we will need to pick a second Drum Major for the upcoming season.

My students need a Drum Major podium for their newest Drum Major to stand on and visually keep the band together as they perform the show.

The 70+ member group will need their student director to keep time, show dynamic levels, and encourage maximum participation throughout their show.

By donating to our project, you'll be helping the students achieve their dreams of participating in a thriving marching band community, helping them to reach their full potential, and aiding their visual connection to the music even more!
