My Project

This class is composed of "Newcomer" students who come to arrive with little English language skills and struggle in their grade-level classes. Our school is located in urban Oahu, with 74% of students qualifying for free or reduced lunch, and 33% is ELL. Despite being considered a disadvantaged population, most students come to school eager to learn and expand their knowledge!

Masks are optional but the transmission of COVID19 remains high.

I cannot teach my students when they are out sick! Help keep the air quality and my students healthy with air filters, tissues, and healthy snacks.
