This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.

My Project

My students are in middle school and I love the bond and tenacity the students have. DonorsChoose has been instrumental in the students learning as they are still using materials from years ago. We received an easel which has been used for instruction, but the students have outgrown it and we are in need of more writing space. Students have grown academically and the teacher/student expectations have increased as well. The trash can will allow us to pass inspection and keep the air in the classroom as clean as possible.
