My Students
My students are from Memphis, Tennessee and need a fresh start to the new year! They come from various backgrounds and economic situations. My students sometimes lack the basic of necessities in order to work and complete classroom assignments. They are eager to learn and are very motivated. With the lack of basic needs, they still focus hard and aim for their best. Most students come to school with little or no school supplies. Please help my kids and thank you!!
My Project
These materials will help my students be able to work and not feel embarrassed if they do not have school supplies. The seats will allow the students to go to our class reading nook and relax while reading. We are always highlighting and underlining in our texts for better understanding. These highlighters will greatly help in that area. The most desired item is the pencil. So many come to school with out a pencil. Having pencils will help the day run smoother for all of us. The chart paper will be used in groups and in whole group learning. We thank you!
