A Great Start for a New Special Education Classroom Teacher
Help me give my students a great start.
I will be a first year Education Specialist in my own Resource Classroom with TK-5th grade students. Most excited to use the art supplies and rug for morning circle time.
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
Being a teacher who loves and appreciates art in all forms, I want to incorporate a multisensory experience for my students, giving them the opportunity to express themselves through their creativity. With the supplies I have chosen, I hope to give them the experience of multisensory learning.
Another aspect of enjoyment in our classroom would be during our morning circle time.
All of the students will sit at the front of the classroom on a cozy rug while we explore and discuss the weather, how many days of school we have left, and a song to start our day off with a smile.
This journey is something I have strived for and want to start the school year with the tools necessary to give my students and memorable learning experience.
