Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My students are from a low-income/high poverty neighborhood. They are faced with numerous challenges both in and out of the classroom with limited access to educational resources. All of my students, based on their parents' socioeconomic status, receive free breakfast, lunch, snack, and dinner (if they so choose).
My class consists of diverse learners.
Numerous students in my class are functioning below grade level with four RSP students. I would like to provide my students with more technology that would give them access to more resources, which will provide more opportunities to learn. This will open up the opportunity that are not accessible due to the limited budget we have to work with. I'd like to assist my students in closing the achievement gap.
My Project
My students have developed a great joy of reading. This book, "A Wrinkle in Time," is the perfect book that will help expand their mind, interest and imagination. This book will help my students to explore the endless possibilities of their creativity and knowledge.
This story, "A Wrinkle in Time," will allow my students to explore into the endless journey of their imagination, to any place their little hearts desire.
My students will enjoy this story immensely when they have the opportunity to dive into the magical world of time traveling. This is such an awesome story that allows my children to be children.
