My Students

Our 4th and 5th grade students are thirsty for STEM experiences! They are always inquisitive and hard working but when it’s time for STEM they come to life with loads of questions, ideas, and innovations! This is the time when they take the reins of their own learning and surprise us all with new and exciting projects and perspectives! It’s not unusual to hear things like this from our kids, “I want to design a special time management clock to help me and my friends accomplish our dreams!” “Hey, we can work together and share our ideas!” Enthusiasm like this deserves the opportunities and tools to reach for the stars!

My Project

Our students are embarking on a STEM Robotics journey and they need your help! Currently our students utilize LEGO Robotics kits that stimulate their creativity while encouraging problem solving skills through programming. They tackle problem based challenges using the kits to solve them. The lack of up-to-date technology is stifling their ability to participate effectively in this program.

Could you imagine waiting around for technology to become available when your enthusiasm for the learning is strongest?

This is what our students face for each robotics lesson! With the generous donation of these tablets our students will have the ability to "strike while the iron is hot"! Now imagine a classroom where every student is involved in robots every day using up-to-date technology and the creativity is flowing! This donation would get us to that next level!
