My Project

This year marks an exciting new chapter as I transition from 2nd to 3rd grade. While many of my students will be experiencing new academic expectations, I am also creating an entirely new classroom environment that reflects the growth and independence of third graders. My goal is to design a space that feels fresh, welcoming, and inspiring- a classroom where every student immediately knows they belong.

I believe the classroom environment is often a student's first teacher.

When children walk into a room that is organized, engaging, and intentionally designed with their needs in mind, they feel safe to take risks, ask questions, collaborate with others, and develop confidence as learners. I want my students to experience a classroom that celebrates diversity, encourages kindness, and fosters a strong sense of community from the very first day.

By creating a classroom that is both comforting and motivating, I can help ease that transition while building excitement for learning. I want my students to feel that third grade is a special milestone- a place where they are challenged, encouraged, and celebrated every day.
