I have been using the same classroom carpet for 3 years now, and it has seen better days! It is a makeshift classroom carpet with duct tape to delineate the different spots, and as you can imagine, it has gotten frayed and dirty over the years (despite being cleaned every year).
My students deserve a colorful, clean new carpet for their whole group learning time.
My students complain regularly about coming to the carpet, and having a new one for the classroom will motivate them to have a more positive attitude about whole group lessons.
