This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.
My Project
The library at our school is a special place for our 600-plus scholars. Our students love to read and explore through books and enjoy lessons taught in the library. Currently, we are in need of modern new chairs to receive our scholars in the library for grades Pre-K through 5. At this time, the chairs are mismatched in size and type. Enhancing the setting of the library, with proper seating, for the upcoming school year will make all students feel more comfortable. Our goal is for the library to be inviting and engaging for all of our students.
With the specified items, the library can be conducive to students' academics collectively and individually.
Students have the option of using the library as a study space, for small groups, etc. The library could also be used as an area for family and engagement events to promote student achievement. We are overly joyed by this opportunity to give our students a facelift library that is intriguing and inviting for all grade levels.
