My Students
Our students are a pretty large and diverse group of students. My student publications class represents our entire student body.
My yearbook class is where I challenge and encourage my students to use their creativity to tell our story.
Students spend the year learning the foundation of knowledge and skills they will need as they move forward in future. They are excited to explore the world of high school through others eyes as they take pictures and create a narrative on the page.
They take pride in their efforts and are willing to challenge their minds. It is my job to ensure their personal and academic needs are met daily.
My Project
My publications students are hard working individuals. They are good at using the resources we have but deserve better.
They are telling our school's story and need equipment to make our yearbook top notch.
They create phenomenal layouts and would like to see how they truly look in color. The printer and additional ink will be an asset in making brilliant yearbook pages. We have one camera, so many pictures are taken with cellphones. While they are high quality they are not great for all shots.
As my student publication class explores the different forms of journalism, I want them to have the equipment needed to get the full experience. Being able to see their finished work as it will appear in the book would be phenomenal.
