A Document Camera to Share Amazing Student Work!

Help me give my students a document camera! So often, my students do great work that serves as a model for other students. A document camera would allow me to project student work on the SmartBoard!

My Students

My 3rd grade class is an amazing community of learners. I strive to build learning activities and experiences that fit the range of learning styles and abilities in our classroom. I work to plan not only lessons, but also so many other things that can benefit our students, such as an environment that is conducive to learning (all styles!), a variety of chances and way to show what they have learned, and more.

As our students return from a full quarantine, blended learning, remote learning and more, I am excited to plan engaging academic and artistic activities for my students, who I am so happy to be in person with this year!

My Project

A document camera would allow me to project student work on the Smartboard to model good work for other students. Very often, the students come up with amazing ideas, responses, artwork, and more that inspires others. With a document camera, I would be able to project their work on the Smartboard screen for all to see. It would also benefit third graders as they learn to annotate their work, and mark up texts in both reading and math.

It would also help as we complete fun art activities each other learning about different artists.

I can demonstrate a variety of artistic techniques as we learn different art styles!
