Hola! I teach Spanish and Pathways to Success in a diverse, rural community! My students love hands-on learning and flexible seating. My students take pride and ownership in our classroom and have helped me create a list that will provide them with the best possible learning environment. They want to celebrate diversity and see flags from different Spanish speaking countries and enjoy efficient flexible seating.

Many of my students are first generation or come from high poverty homes. They need to be able to forget the stress in their life and have a sanctuary that allows them to learn and thrive. My goal is to create a safe and beautiful environment in my classroom that will help students know that through hard work, focus and dedication they have what it takes to succeed. Not all of my learners prefer a desk - therefore by implementing different seating options, the focus can be where it belongs... on learning!
My students are worth it and every donation helps bring us one step closer to our goal!
My Project
Many of my students are the first to attend high school in their family, will be the first to graduate, and will be the first to go onto college. My dream is to create a classroom environment that promotes learning and success for everyone. Flexible seating and flags from different Spanish speaking countries will help me reach this goal. I want all students in my school to know that they have a safe and comfortable place to learn, study and work in.
