My Students
My second grade students are a diverse group of individuals functioning at all ability levels. They are active and love to learn! As a first year teacher, I would love to expand my classroom library so my students have more nonfiction books to read!
My Project
This collection of books will continue to enhance the print-rich classroom that I aim to create. My classroom library is a place where my student can independently choose books of their interest! I have taught my students how to love and care for the books in the library so that every student has the opportunity to read them. I continue to choose books for my library with my students interests in mind. My students are currently very interested in reading nonfiction books, which is something I feel my current library lacks. The addition of these books will help diversify our classroom library and appeal to student interest.
