Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
I have two students that are my music historians for our growing orchestra. They are vital players that organize and take pictures of violin, viola, cello, brass, and percussion sections. In our large orchestra, this is a very big job. They lead the younger students and model organization and responsibility.
They are passionate musicians that have played for all four years and are committed to helping all orchestra members.
In addition to being honor students in music, they are accomplished students in their academics.
My Project
My orchestra and TriM music honor society are very active. We need a dedicated camera to take pictures at practice, our concerts, and community events. The camera and memory card will allow us to use the photos for the school newspaper, local newspaper articles and websites.
I am so proud my orchestra and their participation in community events.
They have a winter and spring concert and they play at Art Honor Society. They will also assist as requested. In addition, the TriM Honor Society does food drives and Autism Awareness fundraisers. Documenting it for our group is important. Our historians need a camera that is better than their phones. Thank you for your consideration.
